STORM 800 THUNDER DOMES II – LPI now offers Thunder Dome II technology for the Storm 800 owner. Derived from our new computer designed combustion chamber profiles, LPI machines your stock head castings to accept our famous Thunder Dome IITM interchangeable combustion chambers. We eliminate the stock head gasket and replace it with our superior o-ring seal design. Provides a 6-8 horsepower gain on pump gas with a 15-20% improvement in fuel economy!! Dramatically improves throttle response, ease of starting and trailability, yet retains stock appearance!! A must have for all piped or modified Storms!!

Comes complete with hardware, choice of chambers, o-rings and installation instructions. This modification is part of the 98′ Trail Dominator Engine kit. Current Trail Dominator kit owners can now update to the new Thunder Dome II design. Available for all 1994-98 Polaris Storm 800cc engines. LPI strongly recommends our Trail Dominator secondary clutch kit to be used with our Thunder Dome II maximum performance results!!

POLARIS XC/RMK 600/700 RMK 800 THUNDER DOMES II  – High performance interchangeable combustion chamber cylinder head assembly for the XC/RMK 600/700/800. Thunder Domes II feature an advanced three piece design with the traditional LPI interchangeable combustion chamber domes, outer shell and a new rigid cover assembly with a built-in optional thermostat . The color anodized outer cover allows 35% more coolant flow over the combustion chamber areas for improved thermodynamic heat management and is designed to function as an upper cylinder “torque plate”!! The snowmobile industries most popular selling high performance cylinder heads, transforms the potent XC/RMK 600/700/800 into a “trail scorcher”!!
