Fitch Fuel Catalysts - by Snow Tech,

A number of you have inquired about our ongoing experiences with the
Fitch Fuel Catalysts (plastic cages filled with metal-looking pellets
that are said to convert commercially available fuel to fuel that is
"fresher", a highly refined and superior end product). To date, we have
used the Fuel Catalysts in a variety of gas powered units from lawn
mowers to snow blowers to having them in every gas can on site. On our
ATVs, dirt bikes and snowmobiles we haven't been simply dropping them
into the gas tanks - we didn't care to have them banging around inside
the gas tank while going through the bumps, knocking into the fuel
pick-up line or in tank fuel filter. Instead, we've been pouring the
"treated" gas from our cans into the ATVs and dirt bikes. On sleds, we
prefer to attach them to the bottom of the fuel level gauge (when
possible).
At this time, we can tell you that
every single engine this has been used in has started right up after
several months of storage, and we have experienced zero fuel related
issues. No foul smelling gas, no gummy Garbs, no fuel-related problems
whatsoever. As bacteria growth and oxygen attack are major causes of
premature aging of fuels, the FFC keeps fuel in an optimal state. We
have learned however you do not want the Catalysts to come into contact
with "traditional" fuel stabilizer liquids that are added to gas. This
is said to have an adverse affect on the pellets, clogging them and
restricting ,their action.
