PRECISION BORING / HONING / SLEEVING
Looking for some "free horsepower"? Our boring and honing procedures are
so advanced that our competitors use us!! Our equipment is specially
set-up for high accuracy and precision!! We guarantee absolute cylinder
roundness and perpendicularity on all our jobs. Top it off with
our "Race Prep" service and we guarantee a noticeable performance
boost!! Perfect ring seal is the key to maximum engine performance and a

thousandth)

Note: LPI can build custom
chrome-moly sleeves for any application. Our liners are much stronger
and tougher than conventional sleeves and used by many racers for
optimum performance. LPI chrome-moly sleeves are of a high tensile
strength heat-treated alloy which is significantly more durable than
cast sleeves yet still boreable.
NICASIL CYLINDER REPLATING
Damaged
nicasil or chrome bores? Let LPI replate you worn cylinders to better
than new condition. Send stripped down cylinders (no studs or gaskets)
and allow 2-3 weeks for turn around.
PRECISION CRANKCASE LINEBORING
LPI can
linebore your Polaris twin and triple crankcases for maximum performance
and reliability. If you have reoccurring crank failures, your linebore
must be verified and corrected. Crankshaft life is directly proportional
to it's support, a loose linebore crush fit will not properly support
the crank thereby shortening it's life. Most crankshaft related problems
can be attributed to improper factory linebores. LPI offers a free line
bore inspection and can significantly improve on factory tolerances. A
must for any performance application!!
Note: Polaris XLT/XCR 600 cases with their thin design
castings have poor linebore tolerances. If you have or plan
modifications to your XLT/XCR 600, be sure to have the linebore
verified!!
CARB
BORING
LPI can
bore your carbs in either straight or taper configuration. Send stripped
down carb assembly and one throttle slide. Additional charge for carb
disassembly/assembly.
COMPLETE CRANKSHAFT REPAIR FACILITY
LPI
provides the highest quality crank repair and rebuilding services found
anywhere!! We offer optional crank balancing and Stroking services also.
LPI stocks upgraded performance crank main bearings and forged
connecting rod kits for popular models. Priority service available at
